Are flights included in the price of packages?
Unfortunately, we do not publish the cost of the flights due to the fluctuation in prices from the relevant air-carriers. We can however arrange your flights on request to save you the hassle.
This enables you to take advantage of the discounts offered by the airlines.
To do this just read some of the useful information in the flights section that Budapest Stags has compiled for you. If you request we can offer a group price together with your accommodation in one package.

What happens if members of our group arrive at different times in Budapest?
We normally only organise one airport transfer in each direction.
However we are very flexible and accommodating so just ask.

What about transport to / from the airport?
Prague Stags recommend you to opt for the transfer service on offer, as it is both more convenient and cheaper for your group than a couple / several taxis.

Will we get the hotel we requested ?
Yes, Prague Stags has a policy that we will not offer you the hotel in the hope it is available if you decide to book with us. First we check with the hotel that they have the rooms required for your stay. Once we have confirmation we then ask the hotel to reserve the rooms for as long as possible. Once you have paid a deposit this then becomes a reservation of the hotel and the rooms are yours. If the hotel you have requested is not available then we shall offer you an alternative before you pay any deposit.

What credit / debit cards do you accept?
We only accept Visa or Master card.
You can either pay the full price and / or a 25% deposit by credit card securely on-line. We advise you not to send your credit card details by e-mail or fax. Our payment system means we never come into contact with your credit card.

How do I know if it is safe to pay on-line?
We use a local bank in Slovakia called Tatra Banka to process all the credit card payments on their secure server. You can find out more about Tatra Banka from their web site. Just like any other payment by credit card, you're completely insured against loss. If you don't receive what you've paid for, you just cancel the credit card payment and the charge gets reversed.

How much deposit will I have to pay?
After your initial enquiry, we will reply in 48-hours telling you the options that are available for your party. Then you have approximately 21 days to decide and take our offer. If you accept you be asked to pay a deposit of 25% to secure the accommodation. Only after we have the confirmation from the hotel do we ask for the deposit.

What happens if we cancel at the last minute?
Please refer to the 'Terms and Conditions'. The deposit you pay is required by the accommodate to secure your reservation.
Unfortunately, these deposits are not normally reimbursed.

What are the best options open to me in way of getting local currency?
This depends on how you like to get your money. Some people like to use the cash machines / ATM's and some by exchanging cash. If the former, then just wait until to get to Budapest and then we will take you on a cash run. If the latter, then just bring some of your local currency over with you and then ask one of our Reps and she will help you. To see more detailed information click on the currency section.

What is a typical budget for a weekend?
Again this depends on you. Some people go to a cheaper place and spend less; then again some spend the same, but have twice the fun. Saying this, Budapest is definitely cheaper than your average European City. Beer is approximately 50p a pint, a good meal with drinks £3.00, Night Club entrance £2, Strip Club entrance £6 and Public transport costs Approx. 25p to anywhere in the city. Our Girls will be more that happy to give you more advice when you arrive in Budapest.

Do I have to book a package or can we just book activities or accommodation?
Prague Stags prides itself on its flexibility, so you can book activities with us even if your accommodation is with another agency.
However, packages do give the best value for money.

Are activities on fixed times and dates?
No, you tell us when you want to do the activities and we will arrange it for you. If the exact time is not possible, then we will inform you of the closest possible time before any payment is made.

Is it possible to be sent a brochure?
Unfortunately, we do not print or send out brochures, as this cost would have to be passed onto our you. We do not want that, so we operate along the same marketing strategy as the low-cost airlines, 'Good Service, at an even better price!'

Do you cater for groups outside the British Isles?
Yes, we organise for people all over the world and we have had visitors from all over the European Union, Australia, North America and more.

Where can I find out about Visa requirements?
European Union citizens do not need a visa, due to the entry of Hungary into the EU. However, other nationalities should check with the local Hungarian Embassy about the requirements. There are also rules with reference to validity of the passport, e.g. the length of time before expiration.

What's my group reference number?
